Heidi AI Health Tool
Westdale Lane Surgery is currently using a new software called Heidi Health AI to help our clinicians in their clinics.
It uses artificial intelligence to document medical note, ensuring your clinician can focus on actively listening to your concerns and delivering personalised care, rather than spending time manually recording the notes.

You and your general practice
This guide tells you what to expect from your general practice (GP) and how you can help them, so you get the best from the National Health Service (NHS). More details can be found through the link below:
Local and NHS services
The surgery works in partnership with local and NHS service providers and groups.
Our dedicated team are here to treat those minor ailments that occur as well as providing specialist management of long-term conditions and clinics covering a wide range of healthcare issues. The technology also means you can now do a lot of things from the comfort of your home such as order a repeat prescription or cancel an appointment.
Partners in Care
Once registered, patients and healthcare professionals work together to ensure the most appropriate care is provided. This partnership philosophy extends even further and our active patient group exists to make sure that patient needs and the practice offering are always heading in the same direction.
Access
There is access for wheelchairs, a designated car parking space for a disabled person and toilet facilities for the disabled. Some of our appointments are held upstairs and we will arrange for you to be seen on the ground floor if you cannot climb the stairs.
We aim to meet the NHS Accessibility Standards. We can provide if notified in advance interpreting services for a wide variety of other languages and for British Sign Language. Large print communications can be provided if required. Please let us know if there are any requirements you need to help you access our services.
